This one is hard to put in a genre. It is technically a documentary I think. But the more accurate category would be "Lifestyle Youtube content made in the 1980s." It is an anthropological slice of life and personality that is now easier to do in the modern era. RIP to FGS who was a pioneer even if he was a bit narcissistic.
